Nick Bacon
Nick’s career has combined entrepreneurial business management skills with his love of marketing planning and research. He joined a regional advertising group as a graduate trainee after taking a business degree and 10 years later he was group managing director of Saatchi UK Affiliates.
In the early 90s he and several management colleagues launched BCLO, subsequently the founding business of the Zoo Group, which became Bristol’s largest marketing services group.
Following a series of mergers and acquisitions Nick became the CEO of Bray Leino which subsequently floated on AIM in the Mission Marketing Group.
Nick helps a wide range of regional charities and organisations with marketing and commercial development. He is very actively involved in the community as well as being a member of the Faculty of Business and Law Advisory Board. He is a former governor of the University of the West of England.
